PA Sermon: Jewish Sons of Apes & Pigs deserve Death
[FBIS (US Government service) Translated Excerpt]
Gaza Palestine Satellite TV Channel in Arabic, official television station of the Palestinian Authority, carries on 12 March 2004 at 0958 GMT a live sermon from Zayid Bin-Sultan Mosque in Gaza.
Shaykh Ibrahim Mudayris delivers the sermon, which he begins by saying that life is a continuous struggle between right and falsehood and that such a struggle exists in the territories between Palestinians and Jews. The Palestinians, he says, are defending a just cause and will triumph in the end.
The imam recalls how the prophet dealt with the problem of Jewish existence before establishing the State of Islam in Medina. He says that the prophet first fraternized the warring Arab tribes of Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj. Then victory in the Battle of Badr gave him the military strength to deal with Jewish existence in Medina, he adds.
The imam says: "Here are the Jews today taking revenge for their grandfathers and ancestors, the sons of apes and pigs. Here are the extremist Jews demanding their rights. Some extremists even demand their rights in Medina." He adds: "This is the extremist tendency of Jews. They are extremists and terrorists who deserve death, while we deserve life, since we have a just cause. Here they are avenging for their grandfathers, taking revenge on us, Muslims, by seizing our holy places and lands forcefully. Last week was a bloody week in which they killed 40 youths, children, and women within the sight of the whole world. No one made a move against these massacres."
The imam says sarcastically: "I congratulate our people and brothers in Jordan for the relations they establish with Jews by laying down a cornerstone on the day of the massacre. Indeed, while a massacre was being committed on the land of Palestine, in the refugee camps of Al-Burayj and al-Nusayrat, as well as Rafah, and Janin; at that very moment, a cornerstone was being laid down for a scientific institute to normalize relations between Jordanian and Jewish students. Congratulations to you, o people of Jordan, on US sponsorship of this successful project. Congratulations to our people in Libya and all Arab peoples, while we are being butchered here on the land of Palestine. Despite all that they are doing, we shall remain patient. We shall defend our honor and the honor of our nation, prisoners, and deportees, and refugee rights. We will fight this racist wall and all forms of Zionist pressure, even if it was at the expense of our lives and homes."
The imam continues with the same theme in the second sermon. Referring again to the method the prophet used to establish the State of Islam in Medina, the imam says: "This is a lesson for us, O Muslims. The Palestinian state cannot be established except on the basis of achieving unity, closing ranks, and putting the Palestinian house in order. There must also be reconciliation between the Arabs, as happened under the prophet. Here are the Jews spitting their venom and history repeating itself. Here they are spitting their venom on the Arab states," he says, adding: "Here they are turning the world superpower against the Arab states. Here is Israel instigating the United States against Syria."
Concluding the second sermon, the imam says: "We extend the hand of peace as the prophet did. We have a just cause and we extend the hand of peace, but they accuse us of being terrorists."
The imam concludes with a general prayer for pardon, mercy, and victory for the Mujahidin. He prays to God for righteous men to free Al-Aqsa Mosque.
